Technical Committee First Phase Completion

The Technical Committee members have completed the first phase of the Pharmaceutical Tender preparatory meetings for the year 2012 Project. These members who represent the governmental sectors in cooperation with NUPCO have completed the general Conditions, guide lines & Technical Specifications mentioned in the Tender Booklet.

This Pharmaceutical Tender 2012 Project included Governmental Sectors such as “Ministry of Health, Ministry of Interior – Health Services, Ministry of Defense and Aviation – Health Services, National Guard Hospital, University Hospitals, in addition to King Faisal Hospital and Research Center).

 

Beginning of the Technical Committee tasks in the Unified Procurement Project 2012
 

The Technical Committed has started their tasks for the Unified Procurement Project 2012 at the National Unified Procurement Company for medical Supplies (NUPCO) head office.

The project included members representing the Governmental Sectors such as “Ministry of Health, Ministry of Interior – Health Services, Ministry of Defense and Aviation – Health Services, National Guard Hospital, University Hospitals and King Faisal Hospital and Research Center). These members will handle in reviewing the General Conditions, guide lines & Technical Specifications of the item lists in the Tender Project to coop with the common directory.
 Dr. Tawfiq Al Ohali, Vice President of the National Unified Procurement Company for Medical Supplies (NUPCO) mentioned that “this project will achieve the goals and visions of the company in serving the Governmental Healthcare Sectors, by providing pharmaceutical items through unified procurement system with high quality and reduced prices to all governmental healthcare sectors with the cooperation of our international and local suppliers.

 

 We have received the final Quantities from:

1-       Ministry of Health
2-      Ministry of Defense & Aviation
3-      King Saud University Hospitals
4-      King Faisal Specialized Hospital and Research Center-Riyadh
 
And we will send letters of intent will to successful suppliers soon.
